PART A – INTRODUCTION
1. Application and Interpretation of Rules
The General Rules apply to all betting activities unless explicitly replaced by the Market Information or Specific Sports Rules. If there is a conflict between the Specific Sports Rules and the General Rules, the Specific Sports Rules prevail. Likewise, if there is a conflict between the Market Information and either the General Rules or the Specific Sports Rules, the Market Information will take precedence. However, if the General Rules or the Specific Sports Rules explicitly state otherwise, those statements will override the Market Information. For any betting markets or categories not covered by the Specific Sports Rules, the General Rules and Market Information will apply.
2. Guidance on Market Information
Market Information provides guidance to users on SlotBaji’s handling of various betting markets. It may also include rules for market settlement, but these rules must be read in conjunction with both the General Rules and the relevant Specific Sports Rules. SlotBaji reserves the right to suspend any market at any time at its sole discretion. This may be necessary for administrative purposes or to protect the interests of its users.
3. Obligations of Users
SlotBaji users must familiarize themselves with the Rules and Regulations governing any market they intend to bet on. Users are warned against relying solely on the Market Information, as it is unlikely to cover all applicable rules for a market.
4. Regulations on Suspicious Activities
SlotBaji reserves the right to cancel, close, suspend, withhold bets, and/or deactivate player accounts at any time based on its sole discretion, particularly in response to suspicious activities such as:
- Using VPNs or methods resulting in frequent IP address changes.
- Creating and operating multiple SlotBaji accounts.
- Engaging in fund transfers, self-matching, court siding, and sharpening, which are all prohibited.
- Any form of exploitation, fluke hunting, match manipulation, and commission creation is strictly prohibited. All decisions made by SlotBaji in these matters are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Resolution of Betting Disputes
Users with concerns or questions about the Rules and Regulations, or any market settlements, should contact SlotBaji without delay. If a user is dissatisfied with any aspect of their betting experience, they should provide SlotBaji with the details of their grievance.
PART B – GENERAL RULES
1. In-Play Market Management
General Provisions
- For all sports except horse racing and greyhound racing, if a market not intended to go in-play fails to suspend at the appropriate time:
– Bets matched after the scheduled ‘off’ time will be void if the event has a pre-set ‘off’ time.
– If the event lacks a pre-set ‘off’ time, SlotBaji will try to determine the actual ‘off’ time, and any bets matched after that time will be void.
-For horse racing and greyhound racing, all bets matched after the official ‘off’ time will be void if the market fails to suspend as scheduled. - SlotBaji strives to suspend in-play markets at the start and end of events but cannot guarantee this will happen precisely on time.
- Once a market transitions to in-play status, SlotBaji will not partially suspend individual outcomes or selections within an Exchange market.
- Customers must manage their in-play bets at all times.
- Broadcasts labeled as ‘live’ by certain broadcasters may actually be delayed or pre-recorded. The extent of any delay can vary depending on the customer’s specific setup.
2. Management of Non-Soccer and Non-Australian Markets at the ‘Off’ Time
- For markets designated to transition to in-play, SlotBaji aims to activate in-play betting at the ‘off’ time as detailed in the Market Information. However, this is not guaranteed.
- If a market slated for in-play does not suspend at the ‘off’ time, leaving unmatched bets active, and the market does not transition to in-play during the event, all bets matched after the scheduled ‘off’ time will be void.
- For horseracing and greyhound racing, bets will be void from the official ‘off’ time rather than the scheduled one.
- If an event lacks a prearranged ‘off’ time, SlotBaji will make reasonable efforts to determine the actual ‘off’ time, and any bets placed after this time will be void.
- If a market intended to be turned in-play is not suspended at the ‘off’ time but is deliberately turned in-play later during the event, all bets matched post ‘off’ time will be honored.
3. Soccer Markets (Excluding Australian Soccer) – Suspension Protocols at Kick-Off and During Material Events
- For soccer markets scheduled for in-play, SlotBaji aims to start in-play betting at kick-off and to suspend markets during material events (defined below).
- The exact kick-off time should be indicated in the Market Information. However, there is no guarantee that markets will be suspended and turned in-play at kick-off.
- If a market set to transition to in-play does not suspend at kick-off and does not enter in-play at any time during the match, all bets matched after the scheduled kick-off time will be void.
- If a market intended for in-play does not suspend at kick-off but is turned in-play during the match, all bets matched after the scheduled kick-off time and before the first material event will be valid. However, if one or more material events occur, all bets matched between the first material event and when the market is turned in-play will be void.
- If the market is not suspended in time for a material event, SlotBaji reserves the right to void any unfairly matched bets until the material event has taken place. This voiding may occur during the event or retrospectively once the match has concluded.
4. Definition of ‘Material Event’
- Within the context of Exchange Rules, a ‘Material Event’ refers to an occurrence where a goal is scored, a penalty is awarded, or a player is sent off.
5. In-Play Protocols for Australian Markets
For Australian markets scheduled for in-play, if the market does not suspend at the ‘off’ time, all bets matched after the scheduled ‘off’ time and before the market transitions to in-play will be void. This also applies to horse racing and greyhound racing, where bets will be void if matched after the official ‘off’ time. If an event does not have a pre-determined ‘off’ time, reasonable efforts will be made to establish the actual ‘off’ time, and any bets placed after this time will be void.
6. Settlement of Results and Markets
General Settlement Rules
- Markets will be settled according to the details provided in the Market Information and/or the Specific Sports Rules.
- If neither the Market Information nor the Specific Sports Rules specify the settlement basis, the official outcome from the governing body will be used, regardless of any later disqualifications or changes to the result, unless an adjustment is announced within 24 hours of the initial settlement to correct a reporting error.
- In the absence of official results, independent sources will be used to determine the outcome. If new information emerges within 48 hours of settlement, a fair decision will be made on whether to reinstate or resettle the market, or to await further information before making a determination. Information surfacing more than 48 hours after settlement will not be considered unless previously stated that further information was awaited.
- In cases of uncertainty regarding results or outcomes, the settlement of any market may be suspended indefinitely until a satisfactory resolution is reached. The right to void any market is reserved if the uncertainty remains unresolved.
7. Market Resettlements
- Markets are typically settled immediately after the event’s conclusion. As a customer service, other markets may be settled or part-settled before the official outcome is declared, or customers’ balances may be increased by the minimum possible winnings. However, the right to alter market settlements is reserved if the official outcome differs from the initial decision, or if the market is subsequently voided, such as in the case of an abandoned event.
- The right to reverse a market settlement is reserved if it was settled in error due to human or technical factors.
- Should a market be resettled, customers’ balances may be adjusted to reflect the new settlement.
8. Non-runners, Withdrawals, and Disqualifications
- The entity reserves the right to void bets in accordance with its terms and conditions or any exceptions outlined in the Exchange Rules. This right is retained even if the market contains a clause stating “All bets stand, run or not” or any similar wording within the Market Information. Consequently, all wagers placed on a team or individual competitor will remain valid, regardless of whether the said team or competitor initiates participation in the event or is involved in any capacity during the event.
- Should the market information fail to explicitly declare that all bets are to be honored regardless of participation, it is incumbent upon customers to consult the Specific Sports Rules that are applicable to their situation.
- In scenarios where a team or individual competitor is disqualified, opts to withdraw, or is compelled to forfeit subsequent to the commencement of an event, they shall be adjudged as having lost if there exists at least one other team or competitor who sees the event through to completion. Conversely, if no team or competitor manages to complete the event from the start, then all bets become null and void, with the exception of wagers on any market that has been definitively resolved.
9. ‘Winner with [Named Selection]’ Markets
- Markets that hinge on the active participation of a specified competitor may be offered intermittently. In instances where the competitor named in the market does not partake in the event, all related bets will be considered void. This clause retains its validity even if the market includes a condition such as “All bets stand, run or not” or an equivalent stipulation within the Market Information.
10. Alterations to the Scheduled Venue
- If there is a change in the scheduled venue for a sports event, all wagers will remain valid unless:
– The revised venue is the domicile of the team previously listed as the away team.
– The venue modification occurs for a match on neutral ground or on the designated away team’s home ground.
– In the cases outlined above, the wagers will be nullified. - For any team sports, if the event is postponed, suspended, or abandoned, the respective sports’ rules will determine the status of the wagers.
- For any team sports, if the event is postponed, suspended, or abandoned, the respective sports’ rules will determine the status of the wagers. All single wagers will be rendered null and void (with accumulators adjusting accordingly) if an event is rescheduled to a different date.
11. “To qualify” Markets
Some markets have specific rules outlined in the Specific Sports Rules or Market Information. Regardless, the following applies:
- Any “qualifying” market, such as “to reach the final” markets, will be determined by the competitor or team that qualifies as per the criteria in Market Information, even if they don’t compete in the next round or event they qualified for. Markets will be settled after the qualifying stage, and any disqualification or amendment of the result will not be considered.
12. Dead Heats
Unless stated otherwise in the Specific Sports Rules or Market Information, the Dead Heat Rules apply to bets on a market where there are more winners than predicted:
- Winnings are divided by the number of actual winners. For example, if there is a dead heat for first place between three horses and ‘Client A’ backed one winner for 300 at a traded price of 4.0, the stake (300) is divided by 3 (the number of actual winners), resulting in a reduced stake of 100. The backer receives the matched traded price (4.0) multiplied by the reduced stake (4 x 100 = 400). Client A’s net winnings are 100 (400 payout minus the original 300 stake), and Client B’s net losses are 100.
- In another example, if seven players tie for second place in a golf tournament, in the “top 5 finish” market, after settling on the outright winner, there would be four other winners’ places available. ‘Client A’ backed one of the winners for 300 at a traded price of 4.0. The stake (300) is multiplied by 4/7 (the number of expected winners divided by the number of actual winners) to calculate the reduced stake (171.43). The backer receives the traded price matched (4.0) multiplied by the reduced stake (4 x 171.43 = 685.72). Client A’s net winnings are 385.72 (685.72 payout minus the original 300 stake), and Client B’s net losses are 385.72.
In cases where customers are involved in betting counterparty situations, the terms ‘Client A’, ‘Client B’, and ‘correct layers’ should be read accordingly.
13. Exchange Multiples and Their Application
The Exchange Rules are exclusively applicable to Exchange Multiples, a specialized betting format on the platform. Here’s an expanded explanation:
- Counterparty Betting in Multiples: When customers engage in multiple bets, they act as counterparties to each other rather than against the house or the platform itself.
- Structure of Multiple Bets: A multiple bet consists of several “legs,” each representing one or more selected options within a given event market. This structure allows for combining different bets across various events, increasing potential returns but also adding complexity.
- Discretionary Rights: The platform reserves the right to refuse multiple bets or reduce stakes under specific circumstances to ensure integrity.
- Adherence to Sport-Specific Rules: All multiple bets are bound by the Exchange Rules pertinent to each sport involved, ensuring consistency with the respective sports’ rules.
- Betting Options for Customers: Customers can place Exchange Multiple bets using “back” options, “lay” options, or a combination of both. However, within a single leg, mixing “back” and “lay” options is not permitted.
- Dutching of Odds: When customers select more than one option in a single leg, the odds for that leg are “dutched,” reflecting the combined probability of any selection winning or all selections losing.
- Odds and Commission: Except for Exchange Multiple bets placed at the Starting Price (BSP), the odds offered are generally based on corresponding single markets. Winning multiple bets are subject to a commission detailed in the Charges section of the website.
- BSP Bets and Deductions: Winnings from Exchange Multiple bets at BSP are exempt from commission, but the odds returned on each leg are subject to a 5% deduction.
- BSP Each Way Exchange Multiples: An each-way Exchange Multiple bet at BSP involves two bets: one for the selections to win and another for them to place. The number of places paid out remains constant regardless of the number of runners.
- Market Availability: The platform determines which markets are available for Exchange Multiples. Typically, events listed under the individual Exchange Multiple Group are available, but not all markets may be accessible.
- Non-Runners and Void Bets: If a selection in any leg is a non-runner or deemed invalid, all bets on that leg are void, and the Exchange Multiple Bet must be adjusted. For example, a treble with one void leg will be altered to a double. If a leg with multiple selections has a non-runner, the entire leg is void.
- BSP Bets with Non-Runners: For Exchange Multiple bets placed at BSP, if a leg with multiple selections has a non-runner, the leg will still stand. For example, if a customer backs both Desert Orchid and Red Rum in a race and Red Rum is a non-runner, the bet on Desert Orchid will still be valid.
- Betting Variations: Variations of Exchange Multiples containing similar contingencies, where the result of one event likely influences another, may be considered invalid.
- Market Variations: Different markets for similar events may be provided from time to time.
- Price Fixing: When making an Exchange Multiple Bet, prices shown are approximate. For multiple bets struck at BSP, the price of each leg and the overall multiple price that customers earn will be fixed when the multiple bet is placed.
- Horse Racing Exchange Multiples: Based on “day of race” markets, ante-post rules do not apply to horse racing Exchange Multiples.
14. Rules of Starting Price (SP) on the Exchange
The Starting Price (SP) represents the final odds available at the event’s commencement. Here’s an in-depth look:
- Nature of SP Bets: SP bets are determined by balancing all SP bets against other Exchange bets when the market is temporarily suspended at the start of the event.
- Irrevocability of SP Bets: Once an SP bet is confirmed, it cannot be retracted under any circumstances.
- Fixed Odds and Calculation: SP bets are fixed-odds wagers. The odds for each selection are computed and matched prior to the event’s initiation, involving SP backers and layers with other Exchange backers and layers.
- Precision of SP Measurement: The SP for each selection is calculated to six decimal places, though it may be displayed to two decimal places. Post-reconciliation, the precise SP can be accessed by clicking on the individual runner graph associated with that selection.
- Contingency Measures: If the platform is inaccessible during an event or the SP cannot be reconciled as planned, the SP will be derived from all obtainable information, including betting activity within relevant markets.
- Premature Reconciliation: If the SP reconciliation process is initiated too early, efforts will be made to reverse it to establish the SP before the event’s start.
- Reversal of SP Reconciliation: In cases where the SP reconciliation is successfully reversed, SP bets will revert to their status prior to reconciliation. If matched, “At In-play: Cancel” bets will return to their unmatched status.
- Unscheduled Reconciliation Procedures: If the SP reconciliation process is activated unexpectedly and a significant event has occurred, the SP will be based solely on SP bets placed before the event’s start.
- SP ‘Either Way’ Option: Treated as two different bets: a win bet on SP and a “to be placed” bet on SP.
- Conversion of Unmatched Bets: Unmatched bets that have been selected for “At In-play: Take SP” will be transformed to SP bets if the market is going in-play. Once converted, they cannot be canceled.
Party Against Whom You Are Betting at SP
When placing a bet at SP, you are betting against other customers. During the reconciliation of SP, it serves as a counterparty to offset liabilities between SP bets and other Exchange Bets.
Placing an SP Bet
Selecting the “SP” button in the market view provides two ways to place an SP bet:
- Leaving the “Set SP odds limit” box unticked, entering the stake for a back bet, or joining the liability for a lay bet.
- Choosing the “Place SP odds limit” option, setting a minimum SP odd for a back bet or a maximum SP odd for a lay bet. If the SP is less than the minimum price demanded by the backer or longer than the maximum price demanded by a layer, the bet will lapse until the event begins.
1. The ‘Keep’ Bets Option
- Maintaining Unmatched Bets In-Play: When an event transitions to in-play, you can select the ‘In-play: Keep’ option in the bet manager to ensure your unmatched Exchange bet remains active. This prevents your bet from being canceled as other unmatched bets are voided at the event’s start.
- Handling Non-Runners and Reduction Factors: Normally, unmatched lay offers for other runners are canceled when a non-runner with a significant reduction factor is withdrawn. However, if you’ve chosen the ‘At In-Play: Keep’ option, your lay bet will remain active. The lay odds will adjust according to the reduction factors of any non-runners.
- Late Withdrawals and Their Impact: For late withdrawals, if the non-runner isn’t removed before in-play, the platform may cancel all lay ‘keep’ bets if the withdrawn runner has a high reduction factor. If lay ‘keep’ bets aren’t canceled due to uncertainty, any bets placed before the ‘off’ and matched in-play will be honored at the original price, unaffected by reduction factors from the late withdrawal.
- Exceptional Circumstances and Customer Protection: Generally, ‘keep’ bets aren’t canceled unless unmatched at the event’s end, but in rare cases, the platform may cancel them to protect customers. This means ‘keep’ bets remain unaffected by market suspensions due to Material Events.
2. Tote Betting Rules Clarified
- Platform as Counterparty: When placing a Tote bet on the platform, you are betting against the platform, which then places the corresponding bet into the Tote pool.
- Rule Precedence: A link to the rules governing Tote bets will be provided. If there’s a discrepancy between these rules and those on the Tote website or host racetrack, the latter takes precedence to ensure accurate rules are applied.
3. Miscellaneous Provisions and Time Zone Considerations
- Time Zone Alignment: All time references align with the event’s local time zone.
- Information Accuracy and Good Faith: Information is provided in good faith, but the platform isn’t responsible for inaccuracies or omissions in details like prices, runners, or results.
- Error Correction and Market Integrity: The platform can correct obvious mistakes to maintain market integrity.
- Incorrect Information and Market Suspension: If incorrect information is displayed, the platform may suspend or void bets on that market.
- Customer Responsibility for Selections: Customers must verify their bets are placed on the intended selection.
- Market Suspension Rights: The platform can suspend the Exchange Market at any time without notice.
- Betting Suspension and Market Voidance: The platform may suspend betting or void bets to maintain market fairness.
- Rule Amendments: The platform can modify rules to reflect changes in the betting environment.
- Customer Protection and Bet Cancellation: The platform can cancel unmatched bets to protect customers from errors.
- Rounding of Settlement Amounts: Settlement amounts are rounded to the nearest two decimal places, always downward for BSP bets.
Part C – SPECIFIC SPORTS RULES
1. Cricket Betting
General Rules for Cricket Betting:
- Unplayed Matches: If no ball is bowled, all bets are void except for those on markets already determined.
- Weather-Affected Matches: Bets are settled based on the official result, including those determined by the Duckworth Lewis method.
- Settlement by Bowl-Off or Coin Toss: If a match is decided by a bowl-off or coin toss, all bets are void except for those on markets already determined.
Test Matches:
- Abandonment and Cancellation: If a Test match starts but is abandoned for non-weather reasons, the platform may void all bets, even on markets already decided.
- Extended Match Duration: If a Test match extends beyond five days from the initial expected completion date, all bets are void except for those on markets already determined.
Limited Over Cricket Matches:
- No Result Matches: If a limited over match is declared “No Result,” all bets are void except for those on markets already determined or meeting minimum over requirements.
- Reserve Day Toss Rules: Bets placed within 30 minutes prior to the originally scheduled start on the first day are invalidated if a new toss occurs on a reserve day.
Super Over Regulations:
- Super Over Betting Market: The market for “Which team will win the Super Over?” is suspended and reactivated when confirmed. It settles based on runs scored in the initial Super Over, with a Dead Heat applied if scores are tied.
2. Soccer Betting
- Material Event Contingency: The platform may void bets matched unfairly after a Material Event if it fails to suspend the market in time. This can happen during or after the match.
- Match Start and Postponement: If a match hasn’t started by 23:59 local time on its scheduled date and isn’t rescheduled within three days, all bets are void unless the match is confirmed to start within this period.
- Abandonment and Rescheduling: If a match starts but is abandoned or postponed and isn’t completed by 23:59 local time on its scheduled date, all markets are void except those already determined. If the match is rescheduled within three days, all bets stand unless the match is restarted from the beginning.
- Friendly Match Betting: Bets pertain to the full duration of play, including stoppage time. If a friendly match is abandoned or postponed and not completed within three days, all bets are void except those already determined.
- Accuracy in Team Listings: Discrepancies between listed team details and official fixtures may invalidate bets, especially if they involve fundamental aspects of the team’s identity.
- Regulations Regarding Team Relegation:
– By League Position: Bets on teams finishing in relegation positions are settled as winning bets.
– Disqualification or Expulsion: If a team is disqualified or expelled before the season starts, all bets on that market are invalid. If this happens after the season starts, all bets on that team are invalid.
– Points Deduction: If a points deduction results in relegation, bets on that team to be relegated are honored. - Commencement of the Betting Season: The season starts with the first league game.
- Shirt Numbers Betting: Bets on ‘Shirt Numbers’ are based on numbers assigned at the match’s start. If a player’s shirt is numberless, the default number is 12.
- Time of First Goal Betting: The first half lasts 45 minutes, with the ‘0-10 Minutes’ range covering from 0:00 to just before 10:00.
- Top Goal Scorer Markets: Only goals scored within the specified league or competition count. Own goals are excluded.
- Measurement of Events: Events like corners are counted based on actual occurrence, not just being awarded.
- Settlement Based on Independent Information: Outcomes are determined using independent sources. If new information arises within 48 hours, the market may be reopened or resettled. Information after 48 hours isn’t considered.
3. Tennis Betting
- Player Retirement or Disqualification: If a player retires or is disqualified, the opponent advancing or winning is deemed the winner. Bets are void if less than one set is completed.
- Impact of Tournament Changes: Bets are void if the tournament is reduced, postponed, or canceled, except for markets already determined.
- Venue and Surface Changes: Bets remain valid despite changes in venues or playing surfaces.
- Changes in Match Duration: Bets are void if the match duration or number of games/sets required to win is altered.
